Paul Mellon (32), now living and working in a Kirkcaldy hotel, allowed police with a search warrant into the house he was staying in at Shearer Avenue, Buckie on March 9, 2022.

Sheriff Ian Cruickshank was told by fiscal depute Robert Weir that officers found several bags of heroin in a Celebrations box, with an approximate street value of £2700.

Other drug paraphernalia and £46.72 was also found.

Mellon had his bail continued pending a background report and restriction of liberty order assessment until March 5.
