Police charge woman after vehicle lands on roof at Gardenstown shore

A woman has been charged by police after a vehicle landed onto its roof on the shoreline at Gardenstown.

Officers were called to the Seatown area of the coastal village at about 11.55pm on Tuesday after there was a report of a single vehicle crash.

The RNLI lifeboats from Macduff and Fraserburgh, and Coastguard teams also attended the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.55pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, police were called to the Seatown area of Gardenstown, following a report of a one-vehicle crash.

"A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
