Police charge man following series of north-east break-ins

A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a series of break-ins to homes and businesses in the Inverurie, Nigg and Cults areas.

He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, November 28.

DC Lewis Ingram said: “Housebreaking is a horrible crime and tackling it remains a priority for North East Division.

“As the evenings get darker earlier, I would ask members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to report any suspicious activity to us so appropriate action can be taken.”
