Police appeal after Peterhead teenager reported missing

Police are appealing for the public’s help as part of efforts to trace Dean Emslie (14) who has been reported missing.

Dean was last seen at about 1.30pm on Thursday, July 15 in the Hope Street area of Peterhead.

Dean is described as 5' 11" tall, with brown hair and when last seen was wearing a black hoodie, black jogging bottoms and a black cap.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Anyone who may have seen Dean since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting number MPR6123090722.

"Missing People operate a free helpline seven days a week from 9am – 11pm for anyone who is thinking of going missing, is currently missing, or has friends or family who are missing.

"This can be accessed by phone or text on 116 000. Further details can be found on the www.missingpeople.org.uk webiste."
