Police appeal after accident on Banff High Street

Police are appealing for help after a car failed to stop following an accident on Banff High Street a fortnight ago.

A brown Honda was struck at about 6.15pm on Friday, May 20, by a black Volkswagen SUV.

The Volkswagen, which is said to have driven off, is likely to have suffered considerable damage.

Anyone with information is asked to ring the police on 101 or use the 'Contact Us' form on the Police Scotland website.

Anonymous reports can be made through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The reference number for the incident is PS-20220520-3135.
