Blair said of the triumph: "I am absolutely delighted to win the Champion of Champions title.

"It was purchased as a small heifer and I took it to the Scottish National Winter Fair at Lanark in November and it won the lightweights there.

"It's been champion at Fettercairn, it was reserve at the Royal Highland and it's been to many other shows.

"It's been great to get back to these events and see everybody. New Deer Show is always good and there has been great selection of cattle exhibited."

The reserve winner in the cattle was from the Shorthorn breed. It was a five-year-old roan cow called Dunsyre Iona 31 from Ross and Kirsty Williams of Tullochbeg, Huntly.

Also in the Champion of Champions was the overall winner in the sheep a Charollais gimmer from siblings Eilidh and Erin Duncan from Clola, Mintlaw.

The reserve champion was a Texel Gimmer from W & K Knox of Mid Haddo.

The overall horse title was won by Strathisla Spartacus from E & C Stables and the reserve champion was Freckleton Mozart, which was ridden by Amy Rugg.
