STRATHBOGIE Junior Agricultural Club celebrated Burns day in style last weekend, with the return of their Burns supper.
The group had been unable to hold their annual Burns celebration since January 2020, as a result of Covid restrictions but the supper came back with a bang last weekend with new secretary Ashley Leggat at the helm.
She said: “This was our first Burns supper back since Covid and it was my first time organising it, so I’m really happy that everything went so smoothly.
“It was absolutely great to be back into the swing of things and now I know what to expect for next year too.”
The group celebrated with a two-course Burns supper provided by A&J Catering and enjoyed some awards and speeches, before dancing the night away at Stewart’s Hall to country, ceilidh and pop music from the Scotty Band.
Ashley added: “We were really happy to have such a good turn out for the event, there was a mixed range of ages there which is always good to see.
“Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
“A huge thank you to everyone who came long and made it such a great night.”
