PICTURES: Scottish Traditional Boat Festival's 30th anniversary celebrated in style

The Scottish Traditional Boat Festival's 30th anniversary culminated with another packed day on Sunday.

After a busy Saturday in Portsoy which saw Princess Anne attend visitors were able to enjoy more attractions and entertainment.

The day started with the Blessing of the Fleet by Rev John Gow.

There was a 2k fun run for children which started from Wally Green and went along the old railway line, past the play park, Loch Soy, the tattie sheds and looped back to Wally Green.

There was an extensive programme of live music which included acts Sea Maids, Amy Papiransky, Arthur Coates and Kerran Cotterell, Brother Sea and Fair Trickit closed the weekend.

There was a demonstration from Kilted Chef Craig Wilson who cooked up Portsoy Oat Boats with Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats and Oatmeal, on the harbour stage.

Youngsters were entertained at Wally Green with Artie's Singing Kettle, Dean the Magician and the Balloon Mannies.

Local performers took to the stage which included Skip 2 The Beat, the Anne McArthur Dancers, Turriff Silver Band and Portsoy Pipe Band.

There was a chance to see the 30th anniversary exhibition in the Salmon Bothy.

There was also a display of classic vehicles that take to the road rather than the water.
