Pictures: Runners turn out in their hundreds for Run Garioch

Aberdeen University Economics student 22-year-old Aaron Odentz completed an incredible double win on Sunday taking the first home in both the PMC 5K in 15:11 :and then going straight back out and winning the Dandara 10K event in 32:54.

As on of Aberdeen AAC’s distance coaches this season has already seen him finish a half-marathon in Inverness in under 70 minutes.

In the 5K, top female runner was Metro Aberdeen's Chloe Gray in 18:02 and the first female runner home in the 10K was Metro Aberdeen's Nicola MacDonald.

The GSC Half Marathon title was claimed by Metro Aberdeen's Jason Kelly in 1:14:41 with Glasgow University dental student Rosa Donaldson taking the ladies title in 1:29:01.

For the junior CP&Co races, the category two boys event went to Euan Scallon and the girls to Hayley Reid.
