Santa paid a special visit to Banff during the return of the Spotty Bag Shop Reindeer Parade.

The festive event was back after a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic and there was a chance for the community to get into the festive spirit.

Youngsters were able to meet Santa and Mrs Claus in their grotto and see the reindeers from The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd.

They could also get photos taken with mascots Spencer, Oor Wullie, Elf on the Shelf, Iggle Piggle, Stuart the Minion and Aberdeen FC's Angus the Bull.

There was an opportunity to see the local emergency services' vehicles including the Banff fire engine, ambulance, coastguard and Macduff lifeboat.

The parade then set away from the shop led by Banff Castle Pipe Band and went through the streets of the town.

Deveron FM entertained with plenty of festive songs and there was a range of refreshments including pizzas, donuts, crepes and waffles.

Children could also have fun in the inflatable Disco Dome and helter skelter.
