Saturday saw the Cricket Ground Lairds in Methlick welcome the local community for the celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Various groups attended the Jubilee, The Legion Scotland, Methlick School, Methlick Cricket Club, Ythanview Hotel, Face painting, for food the MCC laid on a Hog roast for the afternoon.

It was a bright and lovely day enjoyed by all including local children who put in a lot of effort for the fancy dress competition, prizes for which were award by Lady Aberdeen, after judging by local people.
