Macduff Market celebrated its move to a new venue over the weekend.

The wide range of stalls can now be found at the Banff and Macduff Men's Shed on Fife Street.

It will be held on the final Friday of the month from 5.30pm-8.30pm and the last Saturday from 10am-1pm.

A special market was held last Friday and Saturday to mark the move to the community hub.

On the Friday evening there were animals from Waulkmill Menagerie, activities for children, charities fundraising, indoor and outdoor stalls and refreshments including Haydn's Woodfired Pizza, slush and ice-cream.

On the Saturday morning Deveron FM broadcasted live from the site, there was a demonstration from The Plaster King, bouncy castle, more activities for youngsters and the various stalls and refreshments.

Macduff Market has been running for more than 10 years, serving customers from the local community as well as further afield.

The market offers a variety of fresh produce in the food section, including meat; eggs; fruit and vegetables; home-bakes, cupcakes and fudge; preserves and honey.

Its arts and crafts section has a wide array of gifts and home accessories.

There are various seasonal and visiting producers offering plants, shrubs and firewood.

With the market held at Banff and Macduff Men’s Shed the group will be showcasing what they do and how people can get involved.

Most months there are members from other local charities or community groups in attendance who raise funds.

Visit the Macduff Market Facebook page for more information.
