MORE than 150 festive decorated tractors, lorries and trucks of all shapes, sizes and vintages took part in a magnificent Christmas Eve parade through the streets of Huntly and out into the rural parishes of Drumblade and Gartly.
Organised by the Ingram Family of Bogton, Corse, the event has raised more than double the £4000 target set by the family for Alzheimer's Scotland.
James Ingram, whose maternal grandfather died after from the condition hopes that they might smash the £10,000 mark.
He said: "The number on the parade exceeded all our expectations. We feel overwhelmed and humbled by the support and the generous donations made to the charity.
"Seeing the happy, smiling faces on the folk who lined the streets right from Tesco to the Battlehill then at places like Drumblade School was just fantastic."
Mr Ingram thanked all those who turned out with vehicles and also people who made donations of sweets which were handed out along the route.
James Duthie from Aitkenshill, Newburgh, won the prize for the best decorated tractor for a second successive year and James Duxbury of RPD was the best dressed driver.
Last year the family raised more than £4000 for Diabetes Research from the inaugural festive run.
Mr Ingram added: "People tell me just to start planning now for next year, although it will be hard to be better than what we did this year."
