Kintore Summer Festival returned at the weekend which saw hundreds of people attend from the community despite the mixed weather.

The event at the school playing fields provided a fun day out for the family with a variety of attractions.

These included a number of fundraising stalls; games and inflatables for children; and live music throughout Saturday's gala.

Police Scotland's Dive Marine Unit North had a display of equipment with PC Scott Duncan explaining how it all worked and he provided water safety advice.

There was also an opportunity for all ages to try lawn bowls at nearby Kintore Bowling Club.

Kintore Pipe Band performed during the event and there was music from band Rockatansky and other local performers.

Groups that had stalls at the event included Rotary Club of Kintore, Kemany and District; Kintore and District Community Council; Scouts and Kintore Golf Club.

Attendees could also enjoy plenty of refreshments with a barbecue; hog roast; teas and coffees; Prosecco and Pimm's; and a beer tent.

Other events that took place during the festival week included a 5K fun run, dog show and Jubilee treasure hunt.
