NHS Grampian will be conducting a generator exercise on the Inverurie Hospital site on Monday, March 6 between 3.30pm - 6.30pm.

During this time a controlled power outage will be undertaken to enable staff testing of resilience plans and the on-site generator.

This exercise will impact the Inverurie Health & Care Hub between the hours of 3.30pm-6.30pm.

This means there will be no power available to the Inverurie Health Centre and outpatient departments.

The health centre’s computer and IT systems will be unavailable for the duration of the test period.

Inverurie Health Centre – Advice for patients-

During the test period, please only contact the health centre if you require urgent medical assistance.

If you feel that your condition is life threatening please call 999.

Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership Outpatient Department – Advice for patients -

If you have an outpatient appointment, please attend as normal unless you are told otherwise.

We ask that patients do not attend the site for routine appointment booking or enquiries during the course of the exercise.

Donbank Ward, Allan Ward, and the Community Midwife Unit are connected to generator power and should remain open and be unaffected throughout.
