SPENDING time outside in the great outdoors is how two-thirds of people help support their mental health.
That is according to a survey by commissioned by GO Outdoors and the mental health charity Mind.
The survey revealed that almost 50% of people across the country experience challenges with their mental health once a week or more.
The cost of living crisis is one of the biggest trigger factors (36%), relationships (14%) and work pressures (13%).
Physical exercise and spending time outdoors work well for 65% of people, according to the survey.
However, the survey also showed that many struggle to get outside, with one in five managing it just once a week.
To support people experiencing mental health challenges ahead of what’s shaping up to be an incredibly challenging winter, GO Outdoors has designed and released a brand-new range of hats in collaboration with Mind, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
The #HatsOnForMind hats are available to buy exclusively at GO Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, and Fishing Republic.
