A HUNTLY shop has organised a town-centre trail to keep children entertained this summer.

Orb's Bookshop is running a Bee Trail, which will see those partaking set with the challenge of finding 14 shops with a bee image in the window.

Once a shop with a bee image in the window is found, hunters should then enter the shop and search for a bee-related object marked with the same image.

The object, or book, that the image is on should be noted before the search for the next one, in the next shop, begins.

The final objective is to find a bee-related slogan. The trail has been running from July 1 and will end on July 27, when a winner will be declared.

The winner will be invited to Orb's Bookshop, where they can choose a book of their choice as a prize.

A spokesperson for the shop said: "At Orb's we stock books about nature and the environment.

"We know this of interest to many and features in education so we hope to attract children, families and people of all ages to the Bee Trail."

The entry form is available from Orbs Bookshop and other shops taking part. Entry forms should be returned to Orbs by July 26.
