Open day celebrates Kemnay's Community Garden

GREENER Kemnay's Birley Bush community garden drew an appreciative crowd of visitors, local and from farther afield, for an Open day on Saturday.

The garden was conceived as local space for growing, enjoying, meeting old friends and new and learning five years ago.

In that time with a lot of hard work laying down soil and creating beds and pathways it has become a social focal point for villagers and visitors.

It is a pleasing garden area made possible by gardeners, engineers, painters, landscapers, anybody with enthusiasm and imagination.
