Ellon Photographic Group welcome Olympic photographer

At their latest meeting Ellon Photographic Group enjoyed another talk from sports photographer Mark Pain , this time on the topic of Olympic Photography.

He has attended four Olympic Games, with his first Olympic experience being Sydney in 2000.

To start his session Mark shared a selection of his favourite images from the Olympics, before telling members about the difficulties of getting to the right place at the right time.

He talked about a lot of his images and that being all set-up for the moment was key.

The group's next meeting will share the results of the open competition.

The weekly challenge was won by Louise Elder with Nature Journalling.
