With the demand for FareShare’s services increasing during the crisis, now is a crucial and extremely busy time for the charity.

The discounted selection box, which contains premium-quality hand cut steaks, sausages and burgers, is enough to serve 20 people.

By simply feeding your own family with a convenient box that’ll be delivered direct to your door and see you through BBQ season, you are able to help feed others too.

Exclusive to Donald Russell and available to purchase online, each charity meat selection box includes 28 different cuts of meat, all professionally frozen and delivered with clear cooking instructions.

The box includes: 2 Thin Cut Ribeye Steaks (150g each), 2 Thin Cut Sirloin Steaks (150g each), 8 Pork Sausages (Pack of 4, 280g), 4 Lincolnshire Sausages (Pack of 4, 280g), 4 Pork & Black Pudding Sausages (Pack of 4, 280g), 4 Seasoned Beef Burgers (Pack of 2, 300g) and 4 GF Pork & Apple Burgers (Pack of 2, 300g).

For every box sold, Donald Russell will donate £5 to help FareShare feed vulnerable people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

As a result of the partnership, Donald Russell expects to sell 2000 boxes, resulting in a total pledge of £10,000.

To date, Donald Russell have sold one thousand boxes.

Marketing Director at Donald Russell, Sue Stephenson says: “We’re very proud that our service allows customers to stay at home and remain healthy through contactless home deliveries.

"It’s great to see the positive response that we’ve had from our customers with their support of the partnership.

"We want to give back to the community and not only help our customers, but also those who are in difficult situations and in need of good quality food.

"We want to thank FareShare for helping families across the country to access the food that they need and working around the clock to do so.”

Commercial Director at FareShare, Alyson Walsh commented: “Thank you Donald Russell for your generous donation during the Coronavirus crisis.

"We are doing everything we can to get food to frontline charities supporting vulnerable people across the UK and we are extremely grateful for your support.”

FareShare helps nearly a million vulnerable people every week, and last year provided enough food for nearly 46.5 million people.

A £10,000 donation would help deliver enough food for 2500 meals.
