A second drop-in event for Dufftown’s Hillside Farm Housing Masterplan will showcase progress on the design and site layout concept.

A successful exhibition of the Dufftown Hillside Farm Housing Masterplan introduced the project to locals in August this year.

But the next drop-in session will be held at the Royal British Legion in Dufftown on December 6 between 3pm and 7pm.

The proposals are being developed by Collective Architecture with Narro Engineers and representatives from across the project will be on hand to answer questions.

Councillor Marc Macrae, Chair of Moray Council’s Economic Development and Infrastructure Services Committee, said: "Access was a topic discussed by many of the people who attended the first exhibition so this is a great opportunity to see what progress has been made on that front, and the wider site plans.

“I was pleased so many people attended the first drop-in session in August and I hope folk are as willing to take time to find out the next stage of the exciting housing plans for Dufftown.”

The Dufftown and District Community Association (DDCA), supported by the Communities Housing Trust (CHT), and Moray Council have formed a partnership to deliver affordable housing on the Hillside Farm development site in Dufftown.

This will include a mix of DDCA community-led homes and council social rented housing, with the remainder of the site likely to be private owner-occupancy housing.
