Sixteen community pharmacies across Grampian will be offering weekend vaccination clinics in the run up to Christmas, making it even easier to get a flu jab and/or Covid-19 booster, if eligible.

Anyone in the following groups, who has not yet been vaccinated, will be able to book an appointment directly with the participating pharmacies-

Frontline health and social care workers.

All adults aged 60 years or over.

Adults aged 16 to 49 years with underlying health conditions that put them at higher risk of severe coronavirus.

Staff working in care homes for older adults.

Unpaid and Young Carers.

Household contacts (aged 16 or over) of immunosuppressed individuals.

These clinics are in addition to the large vaccination centres currently in operation in Aberdeen, Elgin, and seven locations across Aberdeenshire.

The participating pharmacies are as follows-

Aberdeen City – Webster’s King Street, Michie’s Union Street, Peterculter, Kingswells, and Webster’s Hilton.

Aberdeenshire – Baird’s Fraserburgh; Webster’s New Deer; Michie’s Laurencekirk; Michie’s Stonehaven; Webster’s Peterhead, Kemnay; Rowlands Ellon, Buchanhaven, Aberchirder, and Baird’s Banff.

Moray – Cullen pharmacy.

Webster’s Peterhead is offering a clinic on Wednesday, November 24.

It, along with the other participating pharmacies, will be offering clinics at various times on the weekends of 27/28 November, 4/5 December, 11/12 December, and 18/19 December.

If you are in one of the eligible groups listed and wish to book a vaccination appointment, please contact the relevant pharmacy directly.
