Families are being given the chance win free passes for Macduff Marine Aquarium throughout the school holidays.
Every weekday the aquarium will go live on Facebook at 9.30am with a short feature on one of its sea creatures.
During each show a question about that day's creature will be posed.
The first two people responding with the correct answer will win a free pass for up to two adults and two children to visit the aquarium on the day of their choice during the summer.
Aquarium manager Claire Matthews said: "This is a fantastic chance to explore life under the waves.
"Listen carefully and the answer will be given out during the live Facebook show – it couldn’t be easier."
The first competition feature will be this coming Monday, with more chances to win every weekday until Friday, August 13.
The aquarium team will also be leading Rock Pool Rambles on certain days during the summer.
Visitors will be given a demonstration of how best to find the animals left behind by the tide.
Tickets will cost £1 in addition to aquarium entry and must be booked in advance.
To help in the fight against marine litter, the aquarium is also leading local beach cleans, starting at Tarlair on 14th July.
Litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own gloves.
