Men reported over alleged Alness fireraising bid

TWO men from Lanarkshire, aged 20 and 36, have been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged attempted fireraising at the Station Hotel in Alness.

The incident, which happened in the early hours of August 7, sparked an extensive police enquiry.
