PUPILS from Inverness High School have joined youngsters from across the country to take part in this year's BBC Children in Need appeal.

The pupils got together with others from schools across Scotland at Kelvinside Academy in Glasgow to Sing for Pudsey.

Young people between the age of 10 and 17-years-old are already forming a choir in the lead-up to this year's charity night and will come together at BBC Scotland's Pacific Quay headquarters on Friday, November 18 to perform, not only to Scotland, but also as part of a UK choir.

The Scottish school ensemble will form part of a 2500 strong choir where children across the UK will sing simultaneously to back youngsters in London who are currently being taught to sing and have confidence on Gareth Malone's CBBC Show The Big Performance.

BBC Scotland are now asking for people of all ages and all backgrounds to form a choir with colleagues or friends, raise some money with their own performance, and send the footage in.

It could then be used on the night and featured in a BBC One Scotland highlights programme on Saturday, November 19.
