Coffee morning fundraiser for Caithness Heart Support Group
TABLE napkins might be a minor consideration in your Christmas Day dinner plans... but if you want to give them a new twist, then come along to the Christmas coffee morning at the Norseman Hotel in Wick on Saturday.
John Henderson will be demonstrating how your kids can turn the napkins into something a little different for your special day, while mum and dad are preparing the meal.
He’s a member of Caithness Heart Support Group which is hoping the coffee morning will help replenish its coffers which fund medical equipment in the county. The group has been particularly active in supplying GP surgeries and Caithness General Hospital throughout the year and, understandably, given equipment costs, its bank balance has dwindled.
Hopefully, the coffee morning will help reverse that. Other attractions, in addition to the coffee and mince pies, are floral art and Christmas craft work, a baking stall, lucky dip and raffle as well as some festive music.
It runs from 10am to noon.
