Police appeal for info over two assaults

Police Scotland are investigating an incident which occurred in the lane between King Street and Huntly Street in Inverness about 5.30pm last night.

A male was injured as a result of this assault and Police are appealing for witnesses. Police would particularly like to speak with a man who alerted staff at Tesco to this incident as he may have information to assist the enquiry.

Police Scotland are investigating a similar incident which occurred about 6pm last night at Ness Walk near to the Maple Court Hotel, Inverness. Two males assaulted another male at this location and made off up Ballifeary Lane.
