PUPILS from Rosebank Primary school in Nairn were sent home today after stormy weather meant the school’s electricity was cut off.

A message was sent to parents to come and collect the children after the lack of electricity meant no heating and also no school lunches.

Parents are asked to check the school and council websites and also listen to the radio for information about whether the school will be open tomorrow.
