A 14-year-old has gone missing from her Dingwall home

POLICE have issued an appeal for information about a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing from her home in Ross-shire.

Roslynd Barbara Kotschujew or Deary was last seen in the early hours of Saturday at her Dingwall home.

Police says concern has been expressed for the girl’s wellbeing.

She is described as being white, 5’ 1", very slim build, light brown eyes, collar length dyed strawberry blonde hair and wearing make-up.

She has a local accent and was last seen wearing dark blue rain jacket and a grey hand bag.

It is believed that Miss Deary may frequent the Caithness area.

Anybody who has seen or has any information in relation to her whereabouts are asked to contact Police at Dingwall on Telephone (01349) 862444.

A police spokesman said: "Any information will be treated in the strictest confidence."
