Forres Tolbooth opens doors for special exhibition

THE Tolbooth is open to the public this week, with visitors invited to the former rent office to see a display of old photographs.

The exhibition of Forres through the years from 1800 until the present day, has been organised with old photographs supplied by local history buffs: Ray Mills, Ross Dalziel and Frannie Duncan.

Visitors can visit the old building, which is located in the heart of Forres, every day between 10am to 12.30pm and then from 2pm till 4pm

The exhibition which is on until Saturday, costs just £1 with all proceeds to Heritage Forres.

Refreshments are available in the Courtroom during the event.
