Police appeal following alcohol theft

HUNDREDS of pounds worth of alcohol has been stolen from a Moray convenience store.

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses following the theft from the warehouse of the Co-operative store at East Church Street in Buckie.

Alcohol, valued at a low four-figure sum, was taken between 5.30am and 5.45am on Sunday, December 1.

Amongst items taken were bottles of whisky, brandy and wine.

Anyone with information which may help the enquiry is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
