Man arrested following road collision in Wick

A 51-year-old man has been arrested following a road accident in Wick on Thursday.

The incident happened at 2.45pm and involved a collision between two vehicles at the roundabout outside Mackay’s Hotel. The other car was being driven by an 81-year-old male, who was not injured.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear in court in due course.
