ICT ready themselves for player influx
UP to seven new players are expected to arrive at Caley Thistle to begin pre-season training at the end of the month.
Inverness are reported to be in the advance stages of negotiation with a host of transfer targets as manager Terry Butcher looks to bolster a first-team squad that currently has only 11 players signed.
With their contracts not yet expired at their present employers, however, Caley Thistle cannot make any official announcements, but that is expected to change in the near future.
"I'm more than happy with the progress that has been made on bringing in new players and we've certainly benefited from doing the spadework very early," said Butcher.
"Names cannot be revealed just now as their contracts at other clubs have not yet expired, but they have committed their futures to us and that is very satisfying.
"Some can be named within the next week to 10 days, but the fact that they are checking out homes and schools in Inverness speaks for itself.
"I expect them all to be at Fort George when pre-season training begins and I'm confident our supporters will be pleased with who we've been able to bring in on our restricted budget."
