Police appeal after dog found on A9

POLICE are appealing for information after a Staffordshire Bull Terrier-cross was found by the side of the A9.

The bitch was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, near the Slochd summit.

Police are keen to trace the owner so they can reunite them with the dog, which is mainly black in colour with a white chest.

She is being temporarily housed at local kennels.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
