Friends Of Turriff And Banff MS Group benefit from double Foggie fundraiser

The Foggie Neuk was the venue for two events raising morney for Friends Of Turriff And Banff MS Group last week.

Located on Aberchirder’s Main Street, the events venue hosted a clairvoyant night as well as a body, mind and soul wellbeing evening.

Raffles sold at ‘An Audience With Maureen Smith’ raised £153 for the group, while the following night saw raffles raise a further £214 - a total of £367.

Visitors to the body, mind and soul evening could enjoy taster sessions with a variety of local holistic businesses, including hypnotherapistNorman Williamson, Sunflower Massage Therapy, Of Earth and Angels and KCR With Kim Montgomery.

The event was also supported by Cheveux, Beauty Haven, Good Vibrations, Mill And Co Candles and Garden Of Wellbeing.

The Friends Of Turriff And Banff MS Group raise money to support those in the local area who are affected by Multiple Schlerosis.

The group also work to raise awareness and increase understanding of the condition.

Multiple Schlerosis is a lifelong - typically progressive - illness which affects the nervous system, often causing numbness, blurred vision, speech impairment, issues with co-ordination and severe fatigue.
