Police appeal after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries following two vehicle collision on A95 in Speyside

POLICE have appealed for information following a two vehicle crash on the A95 at Marypark on Thursday, October 6.

The collision occurred around 3.30pm and involved a grey Volvo S90 and an orange KTM motorcycle.

The 21-year-old rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by Air Ambulance.

The 45-year-old driver, and sole occupant, of the Volvo was uninjured.

Sergeant Steve Manson said: “Our enquiries into the collision are at an early stage, however, we are looking to trace any witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision to get in touch.

“Anyone who has dashcam footage or any information that may assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 2039 of Thursday, 6 October, 2022.”
