Moray snowfall returns during yellow weather warning

MORAY has seen snowfall again, affecting side roads and rural areas.

Areas including Forres, Elgin and Speyside saw heavy snow showers.

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been in place since 5pm yesterday.

Schools and main roads have been unaffected so far, with snowfall expected to end at around 11pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A yellow weather warning is in place for snow and ice across parts of Scotland from 5pm today.

"Drivers should plan ahead and ensure you have sufficient fuel, warm clothing, food, water and a charged mobile in case of any delays.

"Follow the @metoffice for more information."
