Moray School Bank's Gin-Go evening is their first fundraiser of the year and will take place this Friday (March 3) at Grant Hall in Rothes.

The event is raising money towards the charity's summer campaign. Last summer alone, Moray School Bank provided more than 500 children experiencing financial hardship with school uniform and supplies.

The group anticipate that as a result of the Cost of Living Crisis they will receive substantially more referrals this year and hope to raise money ahead of the summer so that they can support as many families as possible.

The Gin-Go event promises to be a fun-filled evening with Gin-Go (Bingo with Gins for the Wins and a few other Gin related prizes) and lots of raffles, games and laughs with drag-entertainer Miss Lossie Mouth as the bingo caller.

The Gin-Go evening begins at 7pm. The event is Bring your own Bottle and tickets cost £20. Tickets can be booked via phone at: 07769 551351 or 07754 833048

Moray School Bank will also be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Glen Grant this year on Easter Sunday (April 9). The charity had held the event in 2019 prior to Covid restrictions and it was a huge success. Entry is £5 per person for the event which will run between 12pm and 4pm.
