'All Together Now' panellist will rock Moray music festival Friendly Fest with her Abba tribute band Abba A Rival

ONE of Moray's big summer music events will have a star performer fresh from an appearance on a primetime BBC TV show.

The Friendly Fest returns to Keith's Kynoch Park on Saturday, May 18 after a succcessful debut in 2018, boasting an impressive line-up.

Tickets are selling fast and expected to sell out soon, with a limited number still available on Skiddle or at the Deli Shop in Keith's Mid Street.

Headlining the event is legendary dance music DJ Mauro Picotto, supported by several bands including a highly-rated Abba tribute act.

Abba A Rival headline the live music entertainment performing the Swedish superstar band’s favourite hits - guaranteed to spark a mass Keith singalong.

The group’s lead singer Leona Marie, previously a member of the band Lemonescent who has a string of chart hits in 2003 and 2004, appeared on the Saturday night TV show All Together Now as one of the 100 panellists judging the singing hopefuls.

Up and coming Perth band The Carloways have been added to this year’s line up.

And fans of Madchester indie favourites Happy Mondays will flock to see tribute band Happy Mondaze perform at the event.

This year’s Friendly Fest has two separate stages at the Keith football ground.
