Moray beach is most 'Instagrammed' in UK during 2020

Lossiemouth's East Beach was the most photographed beach in the whole of the UK last year on Instagram.

In addition, the 'Jewel of Moray' made it onto the list of the 50 most photographed beaches across the entire globe.

Lossiemouth came 48th with 50,421 posts to the internet site.

The top three in the list were all in California – Miami Beach, Venice Beach and Laguna Beach.

In fourth was Australia's famous Bondi Beach.

Top in Europe was Croatia's Paradise Beach which came seventh.

Thailand's iconic Ko Phi Phi came ninth.
