The deadline for nominating your Moray & Banffshire Heroes of 2023 is fast approaching so make sure you get your nominations in now!

NOMINATE at www.hnmedia.co.uk/morayheroes by Friday, February 10.

In addition to the 12 main categories, a special award will be given on the evening.

Our judges will choose the hero of heroes from all of your winners and they will be revealed on awards night at Brodie Countryfare, near Forres, on Thursday, April 20.

Geraldine McKillop, store manager at AM McPherson said it was a huge honour to sponsor the hero of heroes and they are looking forward to seeing the winner presented with the award at the ceremony.

“All the people who have been shortlisted for an award are winners and we’re thrilled to sponsor the hero of heroes award which gives that extra big thank you to a very deserving recipient.

“We fully support Moray and Banffshire Heroes. It’s a lovely way to thank and recognise the amazing people in our communities who do so much for others without asking for anything in return.”

GT Tyres, Forres is the host sponsor for this year’s Moray & Banffshire Heroes. GT Tyres director, Jo Philip, was delighted to support the campaign: “We have so many dedicated, hard-working and selfless heroes in our communities but they can often be largely unknown to the wider public. Heroes is a great way to recognise them and give a small thank you for all that they do. The awards night will be a fitting way to celebrate their kindness, support and achievements.”

Sponsored by Inverness Airport, the Moray and Banffshire Heroes awards feature 12 main categories:

  • Volunteer

Each week, your favourite Highland News & Media websites and newspapers featured each category with details about how to nominate your heroes.
