Following a rise in positive Covid cases within the Westhill community, Aberdeenshire Council will be hosting a temporary mobile testing centre for those without symptoms in the town’s library on Westhill Drive tomorrow on Tuesday, June 22 from 10am-3pm.

There is no need to book a slot and it will enable residents to self-test using lateral flow kits to better protect their family, colleagues and the wider community by ensuring they are not spreading the virus to others without realising it.

Residents and those working within the Westhill area are also being encouraged to stick to the protection levels and FACTS guidance.

Results are text back to you within half an hour and anyone testing positive with this lateral flow test at our mobile centre will be notified directly by the NHS and must immediately self-isolate and book a test online at www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or call 0300 303 2713.

Community Collect self test kits will also be offered at the mobile testing centre, however anyone can order kits online at: https://test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/order-lateral-flow-kits/restart

If you don’t have digital access, you can book your order by calling 119.
