Staged by Mitchell School of Drama incorporating Performance Class and Musical Theatre the shows provided a festive medley ranging from ancient times to modern day, from serious to fun - with plenty of Doric especially for the lowly shepherds.

Director Rhona Mitchell is justifiably proud of her troupe of actors, around 30 members the youngest being seevn year-olds

Among the seniors are musical director Alisdair Sneden, musical theatre teacher Andrew Saunders and George Davidson (fiddle).

Mitchell School of Drama will make a welcome return to Garioch Heritage centre at the end of June with their production "Lorna's stories" about Strichen-born Lorna Moon who became one of the earliest successful female screenwriters in Hollywood.
