Massive mistake spotted in Ellon car park

A parking bay which was laid out for use by oversized vehicles at Schoolhill Road in Ellon has led to dozens of comments from local residents on social media after it was noted that the wording was spelled incorrectly.

The council owned car park which serves the town centre was recently given an overhaul and markings were re-done including one for larger vehicles who may occasionally use the space for deliveries.

It is understood that the work was carried out by contractors, not council staff.
