Man charged with intentionally killing or injuring seagull chicks in Portsoy area

A 67-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal after he was charged with intentionally killing or injuring wild birds.

PC Allan, the enquiry officer, said "Unfortunately, not everyone treats wildlife with the care and respect it deserves, and that is often when Police Scotland must respond to criminal activity.

"Wildlife crime is a crime like any other, and tackling and preventing it is a priority for Police Scotland."
