Macduff Petanque Club host successful Easter competition

Macduff Pentanque Club’s Easter melee was narrowly won by Ian Findlay.

Second place went to Malcolm Mckenzie and Yvonne Killicoat was third.

Ian and Malcolm were closely matched, both only dropping two points across the competition.

The petanque club continues to be heavily involved in the community running sessions for the Macduff Guides and Brownies.

They were also recently involved with Banff Academy’s reward day running sessions in front of Duff House.

The club is currently developing additional playing lanes (pistes) to host the National Men’s and Women’s National Triples in July.

The club sessions are held on Saturdays from 10am-12pm at the back of Macduff Bowling Club.
