M&Co offers clarity for north-east customers following administration move

Following the news that M&Co have entered into administration as of December 9 impacting stores from Stonehaven all the way to Dingwall, a statement of clarity for shoppers has been made.
It comments - Gavin Park, Adele Macleod and Rob Harding were appointed as joint administrators of M&Co Trading Ltd ("The Company") on the 9th of December 2022.
The affairs, business and property of the company is managed by the joint administrators.
The joint administrators act as agents of the company and contract without personal liability.
RETURNS
Purchases made in store up to 28 days before the 9th of December 2022 can be exchanged for items of up to the same value, with proof of purchase.
Purchases made in store from the 9th of December 2022 may be exchanged within 14 days with proof of purchase (statutory rights apply).
LOYALTY CARDS
Unfortunately, Loyalty cards and vouchers will not be accepted during the administration.
The Loyalty scheme is closed to further sign ups, and purchases will no longer qualify for Loyalty points.
GIFT VOUCHERS
We are happy to accept the full value of gift cards/refund cards in store, provided the value of the gift card/refund card is no more than half the total price of items purchased.
No new gift cards are being sold, and no balances added to existing gift cards. Unfortunately, the use of gift cards for online orders have been suspended.
OUTSTANDING ORDERS
The joint administrators are honouring orders in process at the time of the administration.
