Championing the nation’s renowned craft distillers, Lidl’s Scottish Gin Festival hit the shelves with Aberdeenshire’s very own House of Elrick featuring in the line-up.

Launching in time for the Bank Holiday weekend, the award-winning Newmachar distiller joins craft distillers from all corners of Scotland with a new fruity flavour plus two ready to drink cans.

Drawing inspiration from their idyllic country house setting, House of Elrick’s new plum and peach gin (40 percent ABV) features the same taste profile as their signature gin complemented by sweet plum and peach flavouring.

The new expression is also available as a refreshing ready to drink beverage (5.5 percent ABV) alongside the House of Elrick’s apple and raspberry (ready to drink).

Based on the distillers’ unique signature gin this ready to drink is mixed with a premium light tonic and blended with natural apple and raspberry flavourings.

House of Elrick’s owner and director Stuart Ingram said: “We strongly believe in quality over quantity, which is why we only produce 600 bottles per batch using only the finest ingredients.

“It is fantastic to be joining Lidl’s prestigious Scottish Gin Festival with our bright and fruitful flavours.”

The festival features a range of 12 'tantalis-gin' products, including nine artisan options, from traditional expressions to unique blends and flavour combinations.

Available across all Lidl Scottish stores while stocks last, the Scottish Gin Festival kicked off on Thursday, May 27.
