The Moray and Grampian Christmas Toy and Food Appeal 2022 officially gets underway today.

In the next eight weeks, along with our appeal partners and collection businesses, we hope to generate as many donations as possible.

We have expanded the appeal this year to include Moray Food Plus which will distribute all donations we receive of non-persishable food items.

Returning as partners this year are The Moray Council, which will distribute all the donated items to those in need, staff at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Asda Elgin, Tesco Elgin and the St Giles shopping centre in Elgin.

There are lots of collection points across Moray.

You can donate toys for younger children from birth to 12 years, gifts for older children and teenagers, gifts for a family or non-perishable food.

All the main partners and collection points featured on the poster on this page can accept donations between now and Tuesday, December 20.

With the cost-of-living crisis biting hard, people need our help more than ever, so any support would be most welcome.
