Latest update: Coronavirus numbers for NHS Grampian area continue to rise

60 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Scotland in the past 24 hours which represents 1.3per cent of newly tested individuals.

Of these 39 are in the NHS Grampian area which represents the highest daily rise since the cluster was confirmed.

There were no new reported deaths of people who have tested positive and at present three people were in intensive care last night with confirmed Covid-19.

A total of 261 people were in hospital with confirmed Covid-19.
